Halloween

Here are a few pictures of our Halloween festivities. We loved having the cute kids come over for candy last night.

To return there

Sometimes it feels like it was just a dream, but then I remember how big of a part of my life it really was... And I crave it!

From now on my pennies are being saved to return to Austria.

Weekend Updates

We had one of the funnest weekends the last couple of days.

To start it off, we went to our favorite camping place at Scofield, you can read about it here.

Then Saturday night we had a super fun date with Brandon and Kelly to Cornbellys, you can read about it here and here.

Sunday was a great day at church, Nate even came to my CTR 4 class with me, and didn't distract the kids.

Then we had a fun-fun delicious potluck luncheon with some wonderful friends, Natalie and Jeremy, and Kiersten and Kent (Too bad we didn't get any pictures, next time we have to!)

And to end the evening right we had a lovely "Vienna Reunion" at Kasia's home, and it was wonderful to see old friends and catch up on their lives.

Too bad we forgot to take the picture before Nicole left. Of course Annalise wore her dirndl. And the girls all insisted that Nate is part of the group now that we're married. LOVE LOVE.

Cornbelly's with the Michons

Saturday night we went on a fun double date with Brandon and Kelly. We started off the night with a delicious (buy one get one free) dinner at Noodles and Company and then headed to Cornbelly's. While there we enjoyed the huge boy scouts of America maze, peddle carts, hay ride, jumping pillow, etc. All in all, it was a fabulous evening with some wonderful friends.

Peek a boo. Nate hiding in the corn.

Brandon is sad to be the third wheel.

Us, on the hay ride.

Jumping on the Jumping Pillow

It was really hard to catch our balance so we could be in the air at the same time.

I think this said "Cornbelly's Rocks."

Scary husband.

All of us.

Scofield Round 2

So because Nate had no classes on Thursday due to UVU's fall break we decided it was the perfect opportunity to go camping. We decided I could miss classes on Friday, because nothing was due and one class was canceled, so we headed up to Scofield Thursday afternoon. The leaves have started to fall off of the trees, but it was still as beautiful as ever. We got there Thursday afternoon and set up camp, and we loved knowing that we'd be there for two nights instead of the typical one. Friday we, of course, went down to the reservoir and went fishing. Although it was probably the worst time of day for fishing, and the wind wouldn't calm down we still each caught a couple of fish. Nate got an air rifle and he taught me how to shoot also. I only practiced on bottles and old eggs, but Nate got a couple of birds and a chipmunk (poor things). We were a little cold at nights, but it wasn't too bad, due to a portable heater we bought. It was so nice to be able to relax a little, and (try) to forget about all the stresses of school and work.

Our beloved camping area, we love it so much, I don't know if we'll ever be satisfied anywhere else.

even though the trees were losing their leaves, it was still beautiful.

When I was younger I called these little jet streaks "sky lions" because they were lines in the sky.

Fishin' of course

And somehow, Nate caught a crawfish.

A pretty big one too. It was totally tangled in his line.

We caught a few fish too.

This poor cutthroat looked like it had barely escaped the death of being the dinner of an osprey.

There are many beautiful views.

My crazy husband.

A view of skyline mines.

Just shootin'.

Somehow I just skimmed the top of the eggs off.

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE
